Key Stage 3 Maths (Year 7 to 9) Age 11-14

KS3 Maths is important because it leads to GCSE Maths. If a child struggles with KS3 content, it will be very difficult for them to do well at GCSE. This is why it's important to ensure that students make the most of Year 7, 8 and 9 because the work they do in these years must be understood well otherwise they will have too much to do in their GCSE years.

We first ensure that our students have a strong grasp of all KS3 topics and then progress to GCSE topics (for those who are ready). This gives them a head start which is advantageous especially given the difficulty of the new 9-1 GCSE examinations. It means they will have more time (in Year 11) to focus on a wide range of exam questions and similar material ahead of their exams - this has a significantly positive impact on results.
